Warms my heart…

I have been so fortunate to have had the most wonderful clients ever. There is nothing like a receiving an amazing note from an awesome client. It means the world to me that people feel my photos bring so much to their special event.

Another thing that warms my heart immensely is when a family loves their photos enough to proudly display them B-I-G in their home! I can’t say enough about how a canvasmount art piece truly makes a statement in a room! This following canvas is a 24″x 36″. They are very happy with it and so am i! I almost cried when i saw it on their wall!
PS: Marie-Josee has since shaved her head - to raise funds for leukemias research - in honour of Mia, her daughther, who is courageously fighting cancer. You look absolutely beautiful Jose!

Sneak Peek of Meagan & Theo’s Big day - August 21, 2010

Wow! What a day this was! The wedding took place on a gorgeous, hot day at the Evergreen Village, south of Winnipeg, near Niverville. The location made for such a nice, antique, country feel for the day but with lots of sophisticated touches! Meagan was such a beautiful bride!! She had her day planned so perfectly and it really went off without a hitch! I knew a few people in the wedding party already seeing as this was the Don’s Photo crew and we had sooo much fun! Theo & Meagan are so meant for each other and i’m soo happy to have been part of their wedding. Love you guys and have fun in Jamaica!!!
PS: Thanks Shannon for your help that day!! And thanks to Bert - the sweet 80 year old farmer for ‘lending’ us his awesome barn for abit

Visit from Barrie

These little sweethearts came all the way from Barrie, Ontario to visit family and while in Winnipeg, Carole planned a session with me!! I was super excited to meet Dominic and Sienna! Our shoot was short-lived due to kids having an ultra-short attention span - being such a young age and all (1 and almost 3 yrs)! But we still managed to get some great, artsy shots in - exactly what Mom wanted! Carole gave me the biggest compliment after she saw her gallery: “You did an amazing job when I thought the photo shoot was a disaster! Great work!” LOL
Thanks again for everything, Carole!

Jo’s little family

Jo is one of my oldest childhood friends. We’ve known each other for about 31-32 years now - since preschool. It was my honour to pop by her place the other day and photograph her beautiful little family! Jo and Mike have twin boys, they are 10 months old here. And their beautiful peanut Maya is 3. It was soo fun catching up with them again and it was a joy to see them such great parents to their little ones

Presenting my beautiful cousin Mel. She came in from Florida to visit and is an absolute knock-out and the funnest girl to have around!! But don’t be fooled by her edgy, red mohawk and eclectic dress….this natural blonde is ULTRA smart!! She’s studying for her PhD in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING! We’re so proud of her!!
These photos are just so Mel - she is a crazy natural in front of the cam and we had a blast! We got into abit of trouble for being on the tracks but i think the shots we got were so worth it!

Bri’s Grad 2010

Grads seem to be getting bigger every year! The girls go ALL out to celebrate and Bri was no exception! She looked amazing!! Her gown was die-to-for gorgeous and the color was just awesome on her. Glad to hear you guys had a blast at the dinner and dance!! Thanks again for having me out!

I’ve had the honour of photographing this peanut so many times: In Mom’s tummy, as a newborn, 6 months, one year and now for his two years! Jay and Jenay LOVE their little man so much and they are just the best parents and awesomest family! I have so much fun with them! Happy Birthday Devin!!
